Camp Navarro - Terms and conditions
TERMS OF SALE
The purchase and/or use of a Ticket to, and/or entry into the Event shall constitute Your unconditional acceptance to be bound by (i) any and all of the terms and conditions contained within this agreement (this “Agreement”) between You and Camp Navarro Stewards LLC (together with it successors and assigns the “Event Hosts”) to attend all or part of the Event. For the avoidance of doubt, Your presence at the Event will be governed by this Agreement. This ticket is a revocable license that only grants entry into the specified event. Admission may be refused or withdrawn or ticket holder removed in the sole discretion of the Event Hosts.
Ticket Purchase & Entry
In order for the purchaser and/or holder (hereinafter referred to as “You” or “Your”) of a valid wristband or ticket (“Ticket”) to enter the event (the “Event”),
You must possess your own valid Ticket upon arrival to the Event.
One (1) Ticket is required per attendee and will only be valid on the day(s) of the Event and area(s) of the Event as indicated on the Ticket.
All ticket sales are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE.
NON-REFUNDABLE applies to any and all circumstances, including but not limited to: injury or illness; cancellation, delays or other issues related to travel arrangements; housing accommodations; and scheduling conflicts of any kind.
In the event that you are unable to attend the event after making payment of full purchase price, you can sell your ticket(s) for not more than price you purchased at time of sale.
No refunds shall be granted due to the cancellation of entertainers.
For safety reasons, Event Hosts reserve the right to, without any prior notice or compensation to You: postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the Event; provisionally keep visitors on the Event site at the end of the Event; totally or partially vacate the Event site; and deny access to the Event site regardless of the possession of a valid Ticket. Subject to the limitations of this Agreement, the Event Hosts reserve the right to change, modify, or alter any aspect of the Event (including, without limitation, the appearance of any performer or artist, and/or the order of performance of any performer or artist), at any time, for any reason whatsoever, without any prior notice or compensation to You. You understand that the artists and/or lineup for the Event may be changed and that such occurrence shall not, under any circumstances, entitle You to any claim whatsoever, including, but not limited to, a refund for Your Ticket.
There will be no replacements for Tickets that are lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged and You unconditionally accept the risk of damage to, loss of and/or theft of Your Ticket. Your Ticket is intended for You only. In no instance shall You share Your Ticket with any person(s) attending or attempting to attend the Event.
If You are discovered to be sharing Your Ticket with another person(s), the Event Hosts reserve the right, in their sole discretion, not to grant You access to the Event or eject You from the Event.
To ensure that Your Ticket is valid, purchase Your Tickets from Easol (“Easol”). Tickets from unauthorized sales channels (e.g., scalpers) may be forged. In no event will forged tickets be honored or eligible for a refund.
Refunds & Cancellation
The Event may be canceled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.
In case of force majeure (e.g. natural disaster, pandemic, or government order), the Event Hosts are is not liable for any costs incurred by you.
If the Event is cancelled in whole, or in part, due to a Force Majeure Event (as defined below), You will not be entitled to a refund. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Event Hosts may issue, at their sole and absolute discretion, a partial or full refund of Your Ticket. A “Force Majeure Event” shall mean an act of God, act or threat of terrorism, earthquake, wildfire, flood, tsunami, strike or other labor condition or dispute, an order or injunction of any court or administrative body or any other act of public authority (local, state and/or federal), riot or civil commotion, national state of emergency or mourning, enactment, rule, order or act of any government or governmental instrumentality (including mandate to reduce venue capacity), epidemic/pandemic (including, without limitation, COVID-19 or any variants or mutations thereof), severe weather threatening the safety of Event attendees or similar contingency or unexpected event, and any such occurrence beyond the reasonable control of Company. You understand that in all instances, the maximum remedy You may receive for any cancellation of any part of the Event, if any, will be the face value of Your Ticket, excluding all fees, taxes and/or service charges paid by You in connection with the purchase of Your Ticket. Refunds will be issued through the original point of purchase, subject to applicable fees.
FORCE MAJEUREIf a performance of the event cannot occur, in whole or in part, or if we cannot perform any of our obligations hereunder because of an act or regulation of public authority, weather conditions, extreme drought, pandemic, water, power or public road unavailability, strikes or labor unrests, fire smoke or fire, riot or civil commotion, shelter in place events, terrorist acts, acts or declarations of war, substantial interruption in, or substantial delay or failure of, technical facilities, acts of God or other occurrence outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”), we have no obligation or liability to you as a result of such act. We reserve the right to determine, in our reasonable discretion, when an event should be cancelled because of a Force Majeure Event. You must comply with any mandatory evacuation orders.
Governing Law.
Your ticket purchase, together with the Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California. Your attendance at an event shall be deemed acceptance of our standard terms and conditions.
Assignment; Successors
Camp Navarro may assign its rights and obligations under this Agreement without your consent (whether prior or subsequent to your purchase of Your Ticket. Any such assignment shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the permitted successors and assigns of the respective parties.
CAMP NAVARRO ACTIVITIES LIABILITY WAIVER AND INDEMNIFICATION
By entering the Event, You assume any risk and/or danger, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, resulting from, or incidental to, the Event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to, the Event, including, but not limited to, any death, personal injury or loss, damage or liability whatsoever. You understand that Your use of Your Ticket is contingent upon Your voluntary assumption of the risk and danger that may result from, or be incidental to, Your presence at the Event, whether occurring prior to, during or after the Event, including, but not limited to, any actions or omissions of the Event Hosts (as defined herein).
You voluntarily assume all risks related to attending the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, or property damage.
The Event Hosts are not liable for any losses, injuries, or damages incurred.
Camp Navarro regards your safety and the safety of others as a top priority and we take care to reduce the traditional risks associated with the Activities and the use of our facilities, including but not limited to cabins, camp sites, trails, stairs, bridges, lodges, event locations, the Meadow Cafe, bathrooms, and showers. However, regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries, some risks are inherent in the Activities and/or use of the facilities and cannot be totally eliminated. These inherent risks include but are not limited to trips, falls, collisions with other participants and inanimate objects. Inherent risks also include unexpected equipment failures, unknown facility hazards, COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, careless behavior by you or other participants, errors in judgment by Camp Navarro employees, and injuries caused by negligence on the part of Camp Navarro or its employees, you or other participants. CAMP NAVARRO WANTS YOU TO UNDERSTAND THAT INJURIES MAY OCCUR. Possible injuries include everything from minor muscle soreness, bruises, sprains, abrasions, and lacerations, to more serious injuries such as sprained ankles, broken bones, knee injuries, shoulder injuries, back sprains, neck sprains, and chipped or broken teeth, as well as catastrophic injuries such as permanent disabilities, spinal injuries, paralysis, and even death.
ASSUMPTION OF INHERENT RISKS. I understand that the inherent risks of the Activities at the “Venue are serious and that many of those activities involve dangers regardless of the care taken by Event Hosts. I realize that the Activities require some degree of skill, coordination, and physical fitness and I know the nature of the Activities, understand the demands of the Activities relative to my physical condition and skill level, and appreciate the types of injuries that can occur as a result of such activities. I hereby assert that my, and if applicable, my child's or ward's participation in the Activities is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all inherent risks of the Activities on behalf of myself and, if applicable, my child or ward.
LIABILITY WAIVER. In consideration of permission to use the Venue facilities today and on all future dates, I, on behalf of myself, my child or ward, my spouse, heirs, personal representatives, estate, parents and assigns ("Releasing Parties") do hereby waive, release, discharge, and covenant not to pursue for legal action against Event Hosts, Mendocino Redwood Company, LLC, and their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, equipment suppliers, independent contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns ("Protected Parties") and hold them harmless from liability for any and all claims arising from participation in the Activities and use of the Camp Navarro facilities by Releasing Parties, including any injury resulting from the ordinary negligence of Protected Parties but excluding any injury resulting from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Protected Parties.
INDEMNIFICATION. Releasing Parties agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Protected Parties from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, demands, liens, suits and expenses arising out of or related to (i) any performance of an event that you may be producing; (ii) your use of the Venue, including any damage to the camp caused by your or your guests’ use of the camp; (iii) any breach of any of covenants or obligations hereunder hereunder by you or any of your guests, (iv) acceptance of delivery by any Protected Party of any property placed or delivered to the Venue, including any loss or damages to such property (unless such loss or damage is due to a Protected Party’s gross negligence or willful misconduct), (v) any act or omission by you or your guests, (vi) any claim by your guests or their invitees including, without limitation, property damage, loss of life, bodily injury and/or (vii) any inaccuracy of any representation, or breach of any agreement, made by you hereunder.
No Protected Party SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DEATH, ILLNESS, BODILY INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE WHICH IS MADE, INCURRED OR SUSTAINED BY GUEST OR ANY GUEST INVITEES. UNLESS INJURY OR DAMAGE WAS DIRECTLY CAUSED BY THE GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OF EVENT HOSTS.
No Protected Party SHALL BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR RENTAL, OR ARISING FROM THE BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT BY any such party, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
GENERAL Releasing Parties confirm that these rules, liability waiver, and indemnification provisions supersede any and all previous oral or written promises or agreements regarding the subject matter hereof and understand that this is the entire agreement between Releasing Parties and Protected Parties as to the subject matter hereof and cannot be modified or changed in any way. Releasing Parties expressly agree that the foregoing rules, liability waiver, and indemnification provisions are intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of California and that if a portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. If legal action is brought, the appropriate trial court in Mendocino County shall have the sole and exclusive jurisdiction, and only the substantive laws of the State of California shall apply.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS AND AGREEMENTS I, on behalf of myself and, if applicable, my child or ward (each a "Participant"), acknowledge and/or agree as follows:
1. Participant possesses sufficient physical fitness and coordination to enable safe participation in the Activities. 2. Participant assumes the risk of all medical conditions of Participant (e.g. asthma, diabetes, anaphylaxis, epilepsy, heart disease, or high blood pressure).3. Event Hosts encourage each participant to get medical clearance prior to participation.4. Participants will cease activity if there is discomfort such as faintness, shortness of breath, high anxiety, or chest pains. 5. Participant authorizes Event Hosts to administer emergency first aid, CPR, use an AED, and secure emergency medical care or transportation (i.e. EMS) if deemed necessary by Event Hosts.
6. Participants assume all costs of emergency medical care and transportation. 7. Participant agrees to abide by all safety-related rules while participating in Activities and to attempt only Activities Participant feels capable of performing safely. 8. Participant agrees to inform Event Hosts immediately if Participant sees conduct or a condition that endangers others. 9. Participants understand the importance of safety rules and equipment and agrees to comply with Event Hosts rules and use appropriate safety equipment when engaging in Activities. 10. Participant acknowledges that Event Hosts have the authority to terminate participation if it is deemed a danger to Participant or others. 11. Participant is responsible for my own actions and behavior during the stay and that I will be held liable for any damage I do to the premises, any of its features, or any of the Event Hosts' personal property included therein.
I understand that by purchasing this ticket and attending the event, I freely and voluntarily affirm that such attendance to constitute a complete and unconditonal release of all Protected Parties liability to the greatest extent allowed by the law of the State of California.The waiver will be interpreted broadly in order to offer a release and waiver to the fullest extent permissible by law.
RULES & REGULATIONS
Camp Navarro is a beautiful and special property to enjoy! To help you properly prepare for the event and to be clear on Camp Navarro’s obligations as well as your obligations to Camp Navarro, the following Rules & Regulations have been prepared.Camp Navarro requests that you review and communicate with all others in your group prior to arrival about all property policies, restrictions, regulations, and safety expectations.
USE OF PREMISE - Pristine, Natural Environment
Camp Navarro has over 200 acres of Redwoods, rivers, and streams. The property is operated in cooperation with a long-term forest management plan so that Camp Navarro can be maintained as a natural resource for generations to come. Camp Navarro provides an “elevated” camp environment with the accommodations and amenities listed in this Rules & Regulations. There is deep pride taken in keeping the camp in a good, clean and working order. If you become aware of any issues while on the premises, please inform a CN employee and we will do our best to fix it as quickly as possible.
Respect the Environment
- You will:
- Respect Camp Navarro, the forest, the land, and the waterways that flow through the property.
- Leave Camp in the same condition as when you arrived.
Age Restrictions
- This is an All Ages event. Anyone under the specified age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- You must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older to purchase and/or consume alcohol and proof of age is required. Valid government-issued ID is required for alcohol purchase and age-restricted zones.
Health, Safety & Conduct
- Harassment, discrimination, or any threatening behavior will not be tolerated.
- You must behave respectfully toward staff, artists, and other guests.
- You must heed the directions of Event organizers and security personnel at all times while on the Event site.
- All county mandates in respect to masks and vaccination requirements will be in force throughout the event. This is non-negotiable at any time during the event.
- The Company reserves the right to present health guidelines in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Due to weather or other conditions, the floors and/or Event grounds may in whole, or in part, slippery.
- No illegal drugs, weapons, fireworks, or other prohibited items are allowed.
- You are permitted to bring into the Event prescription drugs if You have a valid prescription with Your name clearly listed on the prescription.
- COMPANY HAS A ZERO TOLERANCE FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES. THE USE and / or DISTRIBUTION OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, SALE OR IMPROPER USE OF PRESCRIPTION OR OVER-THE-COUNTER DRUGS, AND UNDERAGE DRINKING IS NOT PERMITTED.
- ANYONE FOUND WITH ILLEGAL DRUGS WILL BE SUBJECT TO REMOVAL FROM THE EVENT AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BACK IN.
- You will forbear from all of the following:
- Trying to access or be in sections restricted to certain ticket holders unless in accordance with Your Ticket or credentials, such as production rooms, artists’ lodges, VIP zones, press rooms, offices, backstage and working areas;
- Climbing tents, constructions, fences, closures, lighting columns, tables, benches or any other infrastructure of the Event site;
- Obstructing entrances, exits and evacuation routes and/or to linger at these locations any longer than strictly necessary for entering or exiting the Event site;
- Wearing a disguise or obstructing Your face to avoid being recognized;
- Display or make texts, symbols, images, gestures, wear clothing or articles of dress which, in the sole discretion of Event staff or security personnel, contain and/or display language and/or images which are obscene, racist, xenophobic, provocative, hate speech or discriminatory;
- Be under the influence of illegal drugs or any other illegal substances;
- Be clearly suffering from alcohol intoxication that, in CN staff’s or security's sole discretion, has caused You to be in an impaired state;
- Disturb the peace, demonstrate an intent to disturb the peace or provoke someone else to do so, or compromise the safety of the general public;
- Sell drinks, food, or any other product without the express consent of the Company;
- Throw or shoot any object or liquid, or throw or shoot any other product in loose or gaseous form;
- Urinate in public;
- Re-enter the Event after being removed or banned from the Event, even if You are in possession of a new Ticket (such Ticket will not be refunded);
- Deface, mark, damage, tear down or otherwise destroy, in whole or in part, any of the decorations, infrastructure or part of the Event site;
- Litter or fail to maintain the cleanliness of the Event site;
- Resist the direction of, and search by, security personnel;
- Refuse to declare and forfeit objects that are considered to be dangerous or off-limits by the Event’s security personnel — security personnel are under no obligation to return such forfeited items; and
- Act in violation of the provisions of one (1) or more articles of these regulations or the spirit thereof.
- You understand and agree that Your use of the Ticket is contingent you complying with such directions in regard to the Health, Safety & Conduct section. If You fail to comply with such directions, You will be removed from the Event site, and, if necessary, Event staff may call on the Sheriff for assistance.
EMT
Due to the nature of Camp Navarro’s remote location, Camp Navarro has a certified EMT on property during all events.
- In case of a situation/emergency that cannot be handled by on site medical personnel, 911 will be called. The call may be for the following, but not limited to, allergic reactions, injuries, excessive drinking or drug abuse or any situation that medical personnel feels as though basic medical care will not suffice.
- Camp Navarro EMT and CN Management have final decision-making authority in all medical and/or emergency scenarios on property.
- You hereby consent to medical care and transportation in order to obtain treatment in the Event of injury as Event staff, security, police or medical professionals may deem appropriate in their reasonable discretion. If this is not acceptable to you, you must opt out in writing prior to the commencement of the Event, You understand that Camp Navarro will have no liability to you arising out of, or in any way connected with, the medical treatment and transportation provided in the event of an emergency and/or injury.
- You hereby agree to release and hold harmless the Company Parties from any liability arising out of or in connection with the actions or omissions of the Company Parties related to Your medical care.
- You recognize and acknowledge that there are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness and that not all such risks can be fully eliminated. By entering the Event site, You voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of death, bodily injury or property damage, regardless of severity, which You may sustain as a result of attendance at the Event or while on the premises, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Company Parties.

FIRE SAFETYCamp Navarro takes fire safety very seriously.
- NO OPEN FIRES. Gas stoves and gas BBQ only.
- Absolutely NO:
- Personal campfires permitted anywhere on Camp Navarro’s property.
- Fireworks permitted anywhere on Camp Navarro’s property.
- Firewood gathering is not allowed anywhere on Camp Navarro’s property.
- The only fires allowed on property must be built and managed by Camp Navarro staff at the main fire bowl in front of Bosch Lodge near the Owl Bar, adjacent to the Main Stage.
- Fires at the main fire bowl must be kept to a reasonable size (no higher than 2 feet).
- You are not allowed to “feed” fire or to add any foreign objects to the fire bowl.
- Camp Navarro reserves the right to suspend access to all fire pit and fire bowls throughout property at any time.
Any violation of CN Fire Safety rules may result in legal action against you depending on the severity of the infraction. Camp Navarro reserves the right to require to leave the property if you violate these policies.
Electricity
- The majority of CN includes electricity and lighting both for safety and your comfort. Many outlets throughout CN are low voltage and cannot handle several amounts of electronics charging at the same time.
- Electricity is not available in the “Deep End” villages or in Pomo villages. Battery powered lighting may be provided, and you agrees this lighting will not be removed for your use beyond the unit.
- Electricity is not available in the “Redwood Cathedral” without additional infrastructure costs.
- You are NOT to run any extension cords from electrical outlets in cabins and around camp to any non-powered areas, across any walking pathways or roadways, and extension cords are not allowed to be daisy chained.
- Electricity in the RV area may not be provided per the event.
- All outlets may be locked and you are to not use the outlets without CN authorization.
- Unauthorized use may result in you being asked to leave the premises.
- The outlets also do not support RV voltage needs and you need to be prepared to run generators.
- They may not exceed a noise level of 60 decibels at 50 feet. they may not exceed a noise level of 60 decibels at 50 feet.
- Operation hours between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm and must be off between the hours of 8:00 pm and 10:00 am.
- NO charging of Electric Vehicles allowed anywhere on CN property.
- Unauthorized charging may result in your being asked to leave the premises.
Water System
As part of the long-term forest management plan, Camp Navarro is committed to water conservation and maintaining the safety of the water source.
- Camp Navarro operates a State Certified non-community water system supported by the Navarro Watershed and the water is monitored by to ensure the utmost safety and quality
- Water is filtered, chlorinated, and stored on property.
- All faucets and taps throughout the property provide potable water.
- You are encouraged to be conservative in your use of this beautiful and fragile natural resource. Please take short 2-4 minute showers. Report any leaks or issues.
Septic System
- Camp Navarro has a septic system large enough to handle the sanitation needs for most events.
- You agree to only use biodegradable and environmentally safe soaps, shampoos, lotions, sunblock, and pest repellants while at CN.
- You will not flush “flushable wipes”, sanitary wipes, feminine hygiene products, paper towels, tissues, or trash of any kind down any of the drains in the shower houses, washing stations
- You will not pour any kind of grease or food waste down any of the drains in the shower houses, washing stations, Shannon Lodge, or main kitchen.
Waste Removal & Recycling
- Camp Navarro provides a base level of waste receptacles and service.
- All trash and recycling must be placed in the proper receptacles before vacating the property, including removing all trash/recycling/boxes from the storage and production areas provided during your event.
- To reduce the harmful impact of plastic and micro-trash on our wildlife and environment, the following are prohibited on property:
- Water balloons / Egg toss competitions / non-biodegradable glitter, confetti, or sequins, mini stickers/adhesive body decals and gems / plastic toys / single use disposable lights/twirlers/rings etc. / Silly String
- You will pack out trash when departing.
Telephone
- There is no cell phone reception at Camp Navarro, however you may have the ability to place calls via the Wi-Fi network.
- CN does have an emergency landline on property which is available for outbound calls but is not monitored for inbound calls or messages.
- CN’s public number (off property), which is monitored for incoming messages and calls is (707) 633-3020,
- While CN will maintain service, it shall not be liable for interruptions in such service beyond its control.
Wi-Fi
- As CN is remotely located in the heart of the redwoods, Internet availability cannot be guaranteed.
- You are to only utilize the networks provided to the event and may not utilize any of the Camp Navarro networks.
- You are NOT allowed to directly tap into any ethernet ports anywhere on the property. If you directly tap ethernet ports, you will be asked to leave property.
Lawn
- Camp Navarro strives to maintain a healthy lawn for each event but wear and tear inevitably takes place throughout the (long & dry summer season). In particular, high impact/traffic events like weddings and festivals have the most intense effects.
- NO bicycles, unicycles, skateboards, or any other wheel-mounted travel devices are permitted on the lawn.
- NO Digging or driving any stakes into the ground or grass or setting up of structures with flooring or blankets
- Rugs, lawn chairs, and personal items must be removed each night to allow for watering whenever possible.
- Do not pour any liquids into the grass besides water.
River & Creek Access
- Both the Navarro River and Neefus Creek waterways flow through Camp Navarro and are protected natural habitat for Coho Salmon and Steelhead.
- Absolutely NO FISHING.
- Damming up the Navarro River or Neefus Creek or otherwise altering the flow of water with natural or man-made objects is not permitted under any circumstances.
- NO tent camping allowed in the Navarro Riverbed Neefus Creek bed or their respective flood plains at any time of year
- Around both waterways, we encourage attendees to use caution at all times of the year around water.
- During the winter and spring, the river and creek heights and currents can evolve rapidly becoming extremely hazardous.
- During the summer, the river and creek can be extremely shallow.
- To avoid injury, NO jumping or diving is permitted into the river & NO lifeguard is on duty.
- Children under the age of 14 must always be supervised by an adult.
- Rope Swing - not operated or maintained by CN - Use is at your own risk.
Bicycles
- Bicycles are only permitted on the dirt roads of the property.
- NO RIDING on Masonite Industrial Road (ACTIVE LOGGING ROAD), the lawn, or parking lots is allowed.
Fishing
- Fishing IS NOT permitted along Neefus Creek or the Navarro River at any time.
Pets
- Camp Navarro DOES NOT ALLOW dogs or other pets on its premises other than licensed service animals
- Service animals are permitted only with prior written notice to Camp Navarro and You have appropriate apparel for the pet and have on Your person credentials from an accredited school for which the animal received training
- Service animal needs to be always on a leash and under owner’s command.
- Service animal owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet and for any damage done to CN employees, our Attendees, the accommodations or property.
- If you arrive with an animal who does not meet these requirements, you will NOT be admitted and asked to leave the premises.
Drones
- Drones are NOT permitted.
Smoking
- Smoking is allowed in designated areas only.
- California law requires that there is no smoking within 20 feet of the entrance, exit or window of any public building, workplace building or staff dormitory when smoking in officially designated areas.
- You are to use cigarette receptacles and not put cigarettes out on the ground.
- CN smoking areas are provided and will be enforced as part of the fire safety plan.
- NO smoking of Cannabis in the CN permitted alcohol area at any time.
- NO SMOKING in the permitted ABC area.
- If you smoke outside of designated areas or smoke cannabis in the CN permitted alcohol area will be given a warning for first infraction, will be reported to CN’s General Manager for second infraction, and may also be asked to leave property if there is a second infraction.
Decorations & Signage
- You are not allowed to affix items to trees or anywhere damage may be caused to our buildings or structures.
Vehicles & Arrival / Parking
- Camp Navarro is not an open property—Parking is permitted only in dedicated parking lots.
- Camp Navarro is located off Masonite Industrial Road and there are multiple CN dedicated parking lots for Attendees. (Refer to map for details.)
- Signage or Camp Navarro staff will help direct Attendees to proper parking areas upon arrival to property.
- Vehicles are to remain in designated parking lots and are not allowed inside the camp during events.
- NO cars are ever allowed to park in the cabin, teepee villages or redwood cathedral (includes unloading).
- Parking on Masonite Industrial Road is not allowed under any circumstances.
- This road is a private, shared access road with local residents and is an ACTIVE logging road.
- Logging trucks use this route consistently. You are not allowed to impede traffic on this road in any way.
- You are not allowed access (vehicle or pedestrian) on Masonite Industrial Road past Parking Lot 2.
- NO ATV’s or motorized carts are allowed
- NO CAMPING / SLEEPING IN VEHICLES ALLOWED IN PARKING LOTS.
Catering & Beverages
- To the extent necessary, Camp Navarro reserves the right to make changes to any agreed upon menu selections if necessary due to market conditions, ingredient availability, recall, etc.
- Camp Navarro will accommodate dietary restrictions to the best of our ability. Attendees with extremely severe allergies, such as diagnosed celiac, will need to bring their own prepared meals.
- Bosch Lodge is Camp Navarro’s dining hall and will serve meals at this location.
- NO outside food or beverage vendors or caterers are allowed on property
- Camp Navarro holds an ABC-41, on Sale Beer & Wine license. The ABC permitted area includes Bosch Lodge (including the Meadow Cafe), and the main lawn including the campfire bowl area.
- No outside product - including but not limited to - beer, wine, distilled spirits or cannabis is allowed in Camp Navarro’s permitted area. This is ABC law and is non-negotiable.
- All wine and beer served in permitted areas must be purchased and poured by Camp Navarro staff.
- California state law does not allow consumption of alcoholic beverages on licensed premises from 2am - 6am.
- It is Camp Navarro policy to extend this restriction to the entire 200-acre property.
- If You are seen consuming alcoholic beverages during these hours will be asked to return to their lodging to observe quiet hours.
- Camp Navarro IDs. We will require photo identification. It is not legally acceptable for us to “take the word” of the client or event host regarding someone’s age. If an you are unable to produce acceptable photo identification, we will not be able to serve. Please share this information with all others in your group prior to arriving on property.
- Camp Navarro’s management, night hosts and/or security reserve the right to refuse alcoholic beverage service for any reason, but particularly for abusive behavior and irresponsible actions in general or because of obvious intoxication.
- Abusive behavior and irresponsible actions in general and because of excessive drinking including the right to require You to leave the property.
- Camp Navarro does not allow the use, transfer, or sale of any illegal and/or controlled substances on property at any time.
- NO SMOKING in the permitted ABC area
Music / Noise (Outdoors & Indoors)
- Camp Navarro prides itself on being a good neighbor and a positive influence in our community and we ask for your commitment in continuing this tradition.
- Amplified music outdoors ends at 10pm.
- After 10pm, acoustic music is allowed around the campfire until 2am.
- In general, Camp Navarro requests that after 10pm, all You are to respect fellow Attendees and our neighbors and avoid yelling and loud noise; particularly in and around sleeping areas.
- Indoor Music (post 10PM) will move amplified music into the lodge after 10pm until 2am.
- 2am is a HARD STOP.
- Lodge doors are to remain closed (except for ingress/egress)
- Camp Navarro management, night hosts, and security reserve the right to intervene as needed.
- Camp Navarro observes quiet hours until 8am subject to prior approval by CN prior to the event.
- Drums and drum circles are not allowed.
Cleaning
- Camp Navarro provides general cleaning of our facilities, bathrooms, and common areas for the duration of the event.
- Camp Navarro does not provide daily accommodation cleaning; bed turn downs or linen changing services during events.
Photography & Media Release
- By entering the Event, you consent to being filmed, photographed, or recorded for promotional and commercial use.
- Personal photography and small handheld recording devices are allowed unless otherwise stated.
Privacy / Images / Identity
- All individuals participating in any manner in any part of the Event do grant permission to Camp Navarro Stewards LLC and its agents and representatives, to take and use: photographs and video images of Event participants for unlimited use in news releases, advertisement, promotional, or other commercial purposes, including but not limited to web sites or other electronic media without any compensation to the Event participant. All such photographic and video images, negatives, prints and digital reproductions shall be the property of Camp Navarro Stewards LLC. Camp Navarro Stewards LLC reserves the right to release any participant’s identity and any personal information gathered through the reservation process and/or participation in the Event, if such information is requested by law enforcement or management personnel of any entity associated with the Event, and/or if such information is potentially helpful in assisting an investigation undertaken by Camp Navarro Stewards LLC or by an entity or contractor associated with the Event with regard to breach of this AGREEMENT or other rules, regulation, or agreement pertaining to the participant’s use of any services performed by an entity associated with the Event.
Recordings
- By attending the Event, You understand, agree and acknowledge that (i) You may be photographed and filmed, and (ii) You hereby provide the Company with Your absolute, express consent to be photographed and filmed. You further understand and agree that these images and/or recordings can be registered, stored, transmitted, broadcast/streamed, rebroadcast, and sold for archival, promotional, and/or commercial purposes, in any manner, and in any media, now known or hereafter discovered, without any compensation to You. Your name, image and/or Your likeness may be captured as part of and/or used in connection with any broadcast/stream, audio, visual, or audio-visual recording, photograph, or other reproduction or other publication of the Event (the “Footage”) and may also be used by or on behalf of the Company or any of the Company’s parent entities, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, sponsors, officers, shareholders, successors or assigns for any purpose, including, but not limited to, archival, promotional, and commercial purposes, without any compensation to You. You waive all other rights in and to the Footage, including, but not limited to, all claims of so-called moral rights. This Footage may be used to identify and facilitate the prosecution of illegal or impermissible conduct.
- Any recordings made by ticket holders on or near the Event site may not be used for commercial or public purposes, unless consented to by the Company (including, without limitation, having ads run on or beside such videos on YouTube and other video sharing websites). Non-professional grade small video cameras and cameras are allowed at the Event site.
Security
- Camp Navarro reserves the right to have additional security depending on the needs and scale of the Event.
Right To Revoke Participant’s Access To Events And Accommodations
- Camp Navarro reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny any Event participant’s access to the Event and access to housing accommodations and other Event areas at any time due to misconduct which is either illegal, or which interferes with the rights, privileges and/or enjoyment of other Event participants.
- This right includes, but is not limited to, the right to deny access to the Event, housing accommodations and other Event areas due to misuse of prescribed and/or illicit drugs or drinking alcohol which, at the sole discretion of Camp Navarro, unreasonably impairs the participant’s reaction time, judgment, or general health and may hinder the participant’s ability to participate safely in any of the activities and/or events associated with the Event. In the event of any denial or revocation of participant access, the offending Event participant will not be entitled to a refund of any portion of the purchase price.
Right to Remove Disruptive Persons
- Camp Navarro reserves the right to refuse admission and the right to require Attendee(s) to leave the property any person who is behaving in a disruptive or dangerous manner or is otherwise violating any terms hereunder.
- No refunds will be paid as a result of any such refusal or ejection.
- Mendocino County Sheriff will be called to engage with any Attendees involved in direct acts of violence towards another Attendee or CN employee.
- You acknowledge and understand that the Ticket is a revocable license to attend the Event, which is subject to revocation and denial of admission without compensation for any reason, including, but not limited to, Your attempted or actual violation of any of the rules set forth herein, policy or regulations and for any other action taken by You in violation of any local, state or federal law, or that may endanger other ticketholders.
- If You are removed from the Event, Your ticket shall not be refunded and You will be denied re-entry, even if You are in possession of a new Ticket. If You have a new Ticket, Event staff may seize that Ticket and You shall not receive a refund.
Lost and Found / Theft
- Camp Navarro is not responsible for items left on the property during or after the event.
- Any items found during the event or after your event will be brought to the Lost and Found area in front of the Meadow Café.
- (Items of significant value; credit cards, jewelry, cell phones will be turned in for safe keeping with CN Management.)
- Camp Navarro will hold any other items found after departure for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, items will be donated to a local non-profit organization.
- If you reach out to CN about a found item and requests its return, you will cover the shipping cost on a pre-paid basis.
- Camp Navarro is a large open property and camp facility, and we do our best to have staffing, signage, and other security measures in place to deter trespassing and/or theft, however these issues can arise.
- Camp Navarro takes no responsibility for any theft that may occur.
FORCE MAJEUREIf a performance of the event cannot occur, in whole or in part, or if we cannot perform any of our obligations hereunder because of an act or regulation of public authority, weather conditions, extreme drought, pandemic, water, power or public road unavailability, strikes or labor unrests, fire smoke or fire, riot or civil commotion, shelter in place events, terrorist acts, acts or declarations of war, substantial interruption in, or substantial delay or failure of, technical facilities, acts of God or other occurrence outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”), we have no obligation or liability to you as a result of such act. We reserve the right to determine, in our reasonable discretion, when an event should be cancelled because of a Force Majeure Event. You must comply with mandatory evacuation order.
Governing Law; Jurisdiction; Waiver of Trial by Jury
Your ticket purchase, together with the Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California. Your attendance at an event shall be deemed acceptance of our standard terms and conditions.
Assignment; SuccessorsYou may assign your rights and obligations under this Agreement to any other person or entity only with the prior written consent of Camp Navarro. Camp Navarro may assign its rights and obligations under this Agreement without your consent. Any such assignment shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the permitted successors and assigns of the respective parties.
CAMP NAVARRO ACTIVITIES LIABILITY WAIVER AND INDEMNIFICATION
By entering the Event, You assume any risk and/or danger, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, resulting from, or incidental to, the Event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to, the Event, including, but not limited to, any death, personal injury or loss, damage or liability whatsoever. You understand that Your use of Your Ticket is contingent upon Your voluntary assumption of the risk and danger that may result from, or be incidental to, Your presence at the Event, whether occurring prior to, during or after the Event, including, but not limited to, any actions or omissions of the Company Parties (as defined herein).
You voluntarily assume all risks related to attending the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, or property damage.
The organizers, venue, sponsors, and partners are not liable for any losses, injuries, or damages incurred.
Camp Navarro regards your safety and the safety of others as a top priority and we take care to reduce the traditional risks associated with the Activities and the use of our facilities, including but not limited to cabins, camp sites, trails, stairs, bridges, lodges, event locations, the Meadow Cafe, bathrooms, and showers. However, regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries, some risks are inherent in the Activities and/or use of the facilities and cannot be totally eliminated. These inherent risks include but are not limited to trips, falls, collisions with other participants and inanimate objects. Inherent risks also include unexpected equipment failures, unknown facility hazards, COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, careless behavior by you or other participants, errors in judgment by Camp Navarro employees, and injuries caused by negligence on the part of Camp Navarro or its employees, you or other participants. CAMP NAVARRO WANTS YOU TO UNDERSTAND THAT INJURIES MAY OCCUR. Possible injuries include everything from minor muscle soreness, bruises, sprains, abrasions, and lacerations, to more serious injuries such as sprained ankles, broken bones, knee injuries, shoulder injuries, back sprains, neck sprains, and chipped or broken teeth, as well as catastrophic injuries such as permanent disabilities, spinal injuries, paralysis, and even death.
ASSUMPTION OF INHERENT RISKS. I understand that the inherent risks of the Activities at Camp Navarro are serious and that many of those activities involve dangers regardless of the care taken by Camp Navarro. I realize that the Activities require some degree of skill, coordination, and physical fitness. I have read the previous paragraph and I know the nature of the Activities, understand the demands of the Activities relative to my physical condition and skill level, and appreciate the types of injuries that can occur as a result of such activities. I hereby assert that my, and if applicable, my child's or ward's participation in the Activities is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all inherent risks of the Activities on behalf of myself and, if applicable, my child or ward.
LIABILITY WAIVER. In consideration of permission to use the Camp Navarro facilities today and on all future dates, I, on behalf of myself, my child or ward, my spouse, heirs, personal representatives, estate, parents and assigns ("Releasing Parties") do hereby waive, release, discharge, and covenant not to pursue for legal action against Camp Navarro Stewards, LLC, Mendocino Redwood Company, LLC, and their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, equipment suppliers, independent contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns ("Protected Parties") and hold them harmless from liability for any and all claims arising from participation in the Activities and use of the Camp Navarro facilities by Releasing Parties, including any injury resulting from the ordinary negligence of Protected Parties but excluding any injury resulting from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Protected Parties.
INDEMNIFICATION. Releasing Parties agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Protected Parties from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, demands, liens, suits and expenses arising out of or related to (i) any performance of an event that you may be producing; (ii) your use of Camp Navarro, including any damage to the camp caused by your or your guests’ use of the camp; (iii) any breach of any of covenants or obligations hereunder hereunder by you or any of your guests, (iv) Camp Navarro’s acceptance of delivery of any property placed or delivered to the Venue, including any loss or damages to such property (unless such loss or damage is due to Camp Navarro Stewards’s gross negligence or willful misconduct), (v) any act or omission by you or your guests, (vi) any claim by your guests or their invitees including, without limitation, property damage, loss of life, bodily injury and/or (vii) any inaccuracy of any representation, or breach of any agreement, made by you hereunder.
- CAMP NAVARRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DEATH, ILLNESS, BODILY INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE WHICH IS MADE, INCURRED OR SUSTAINED BY GUEST OR ANY GUEST INVITEES. UNLESS INJURY OR DAMAGE WAS DIRECTLY CAUSED BY THE GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OF CAMP NAVARRO
- CAMP NAVARRO SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR RENTAL, OR ARISING FROM THE BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT BY CAMP NAVARRO, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
GENERAL Releasing Parties confirm that these rules, liability waiver, and indemnification provisions supersede any and all previous oral or written promises or agreements regarding the subject matter hereof and understand that this is the entire agreement between Releasing Parties and Protected Parties as to the subject matter hereof and cannot be modified or changed in any way except in a writing signed by Camp Navarro Stewards, LLC. Releasing Parties expressly agree that the foregoing rules, liability waiver, and indemnification provisions are intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of California and that if a portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. If legal action is brought, the appropriate trial court in Mendocino County shall have the sole and exclusive jurisdiction, and only the substantive laws of the State of California shall apply.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS AND AGREEMENTSI, on behalf of myself and, if applicable, my child or ward (each a "Participant"), acknowledge and/or agree as follows:
1. Participant possesses sufficient physical fitness and coordination to enable safe participation in the Activities. 2. Participant assumes the risk of all medical conditions of Participant (e.g. asthma, diabetes, anaphylaxis, epilepsy, heart disease, or high blood pressure).3. Camp Navarro encourages each participant to get medical clearance prior to participation.4. Participants will cease activity if there is discomfort such as faintness, shortness of breath, high anxiety, or chest pains. 5. Participant authorizes Camp Navarro to administer emergency first aid, CPR, use an AED, and secure emergency medical care or transportation (i.e. EMS) if deemed necessary by Camp Navarro. 6. Participants assume all costs of emergency medical care and transportation. 7. Participant agrees to abide by all safety-related rules while participating in Activities and to attempt only Activities Participant feels capable of performing safely. 8. Participant agrees to inform Camp Navarro immediately if Participant sees conduct or a condition that endangers others. 9. Participants understand the importance of safety rules and equipment and agrees to comply with Camp Navarro rules and use appropriate safety equipment when engaging in Activities. 10. Participant acknowledges that Camp Navarro has the authority to terminate participation if it is deemed a danger to Participant or others. 11. Participant is responsible for my own actions and behavior during the stay and that I will be held liable for any damage I do to the premises, any of its features, or any of the Camp Navarro's personal property included therein.
I certify that I have read this Liability Waiver and Indemnification and fully understand its terms. If applicable, I assert that I have explained the risks of the Activities, and the conditions of their participation, to my child. I understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my rights, the rights of my child or ward, if applicable, and the rights of other Releasing Parties to sue for damages in the event of death, injury, or loss. I further acknowledge that I, on behalf of myself and, if applicable, my child or ward, am signing this Liability Waiver and Indemnification freely and voluntarily and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability, including that due to the inherent risks of the Activities or ordinary negligence by the Protected Parties, to the greatest extent allowed by the law of the State of California. The waiver will be interpreted broadly in order to offer a release and waiver to the fullest extent permissible by law.
